1. The short version
This site is a plain informational website. It does not run advertising and it does not sell data to anyone. We do use a visitor tracker to identify the businesses that visit us, for our own business-to-business marketing, as explained below.
Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels. We treat them all the same way in this policy.
2. What this site sets
The table below lists everything. All of it loads when you use the site, under our legitimate interest, as explained in section 3.

3. How it actually works here
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, because the site cannot function without them.
Everything else, our HubSpot analytics and the Apollo website visitor tracker, loads when you use the site. HubSpot shows us which pages people read. Apollo helps us identify the business or organisation a visitor is likely from, so we can follow up for business-to-business marketing. Neither identifies you by name.
We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and in reaching potential business customers. We do not ask for consent first, and we do not run advertising or sell data. If you would rather we did not process this, you can opt out: block cookies and trackers in your browser or with a tracker or ad blocker, or tell us at info@apolloaccreditation.com and we will action it.
The notice at the foot of the screen is informational. It reappears each browser session until you dismiss it, and selecting Cookie notice in the footer of any page brings it back.
One exception is worth stating plainly. If you choose to submit the enquiry form on our homepage, the form is provided by HubSpot and loads in order to work. That is a service you asked for rather than analytics, but you should know it happens.
In Malta this is governed by the Processing of Personal Data (Electronic Communications Sector) Regulations, S.L. 586.01. In the United Kingdom it is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003.
4. Controlling cookies yourself
Every mainstream browser lets you block or delete cookies, and lets you see what is already stored. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.
Browser settings are the most reliable control, because they apply to every site you visit rather than just this one.
5. Third parties
Where a third party sets a cookie through this site, that party is responsible for its own processing and has its own notice. We do not permit third parties to use data collected here for their own advertising.
6. Changes
We review this policy at least annually and whenever the technologies used on the site change. The version and date are shown at the top of this page.
