Course development is where most clients start. When the course is ready, the same team can take it to CPD Certification or full accreditation, so nothing has to be rebuilt.
Quality assurance, initial and maintenance, is part of every CPD Certification and Qualifications Accreditation job. Some organisations only need a strong in-house course, and that is a finished job in its own right. Start where you are, and move up when it makes sense for you. See all services.
Who does the work

An accreditation body looks at who brought a submission as well as what is in it. So we tell you who will work on your programme, and we publish the checks every client passes before we quote.
When the course is ready, we take it to CPD Certification or full accreditation in the UK or the EU.

Every course we build is ready to be certified or accredited later. Some clients want to sell training to buyers in the UK and the EU. Others sell at home and want a course their local competitors can't offer. Either way, we take the course to CPD Certification or full accreditation with a recognised body.
In the UK and the EU, a recognised course has been through an outside review against published standards, and it sits at a level on a national framework. That review is what buyers are paying for when they pick an accredited course over an ordinary one. If you want your course recognised, you probably fall into one of two groups.
Reach new customers
You want to sell training in the UK or the EU
The first thing a UK or European buyer asks is what your course is worth. CPD hours, an RQF or SCQF level, or an MFHEA award that sits on the EQF answers that for you. We get your course ready and take it through whichever of those your buyers know.
Maybe nobody near you offers recognised training. Then a course accredited to UK or EU standards is something your competitors don't have. Your learners gain too: their certificate is still worth something if they work abroad later.
Your course gets a level on the RQF, SCQF, MQF or EQF, or CPD hours from a known CPD body. A buyer can look it up.

Get your course CPD certified, without the guesswork
We check the course against the criteria of the CPD body you pick, fix what would hold it up, and manage the application to a decision. After that, a yearly quality review keeps the certification current. The decision always rests with the CPD body.
We map your provision to these frameworks. With MFHEA we prepare and manage the submission ourselves; in the UK nations the submission goes through a recognised awarding organisation. Apollo Accreditation is not a regulator or an awarding organisation, and does not award qualifications itself.

How far we go on each route
The EU, through MFHEA: we do all of it. We set up the company, build the programme, put the MFHEA file together, answer MFHEA's questions and keep the quality checks going after approval. The decision itself is MFHEA's.
England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland: through an awarding organisation. None of the four UK regulators approves a provider's course directly. They recognise awarding organisations, and those organisations put qualifications forward. So we write the qualification and its evidence, find an awarding organisation that suits it, and handle the back and forth until it decides. Some clients ask about becoming an awarding organisation themselves. It can be done, but it takes far longer, and we will say so if it is not worth it for you.
CPD: through an independent body. We get the course ready and run the application; the certificate comes from the CPD body.
The United Kingdom has four qualifications regulators, not one. A qualification regulated in England is not automatically regulated in Wales, Northern Ireland or Scotland, and the frameworks differ. We confirm the current standards and criteria with the relevant authority before we start any submission, and we tell you where a single qualification can be recognised in more than one nation and where it cannot. We also work with other national frameworks and awarding bodies on request.
Since Brexit, a UK qualification no longer holds an automatic, current place in the European Union's own qualifications system. Accreditation through Malta puts that back.
Malta is an EU member state, and the Malta Qualifications Framework (MQF) is referenced to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), the eight-level scale that lets employers, regulators and learners across Europe read a qualification's level at a glance. Accredit your programme through Malta and it carries that level directly.

One honest caveat. This is about the recognition and level of your qualification, not an automatic licence to practise a regulated profession. Access to regulated professions such as law, accountancy or healthcare runs through separate EU rules, and we will tell you plainly where your programme sits before you commit.

Who is Apollo Accreditation for?

They're based in the UK, across the EU and further afield. Most come to us for course development, trainer-led or eLearning. Some also want the course CPD certified or accredited to UK and EU standards, and we do that too.
What kinds of courses do you build?

For trainer-led work you get slides, a facilitator guide, exercises and assessment, run by our trainers or handed to yours. For eLearning we build interactive modules in our own authoring tool. Do you build onboarding and micro-courses?
Yes. We build onboarding courses for new students and new employees, short refreshers for continuous on-the-job training, and micro-courses of a few minutes on one point each that people can take on a phone. Many clients start with onboarding and add the rest. Each one can be trainer-led, eLearning or a blend, and is built to CPD and accreditation standard.
What are the four levels of eLearning?
They describe how interactive a module is. Level 1, Convert, turns your slides or manual into a self-paced module with a quiz. Level 2, Standard, is written for eLearning from the start, with reveals, sorting and knowledge checks. Level 3, Scenario, adds workplace situations where each choice changes what happens next. Level 4, Advanced, adds several branching paths, simulations or video role-play. You can start at Level 1 and upgrade later, and we credit what you paid if you do it within 90 days. Do you build eLearning in your own authoring tool?
Yes. Our in-house course team builds every module in an authoring tool we make and keep developing ourselves. Tracking, captions and keyboard navigation are built in, and each module is delivered as a SCORM or xAPI package, or hosted on our platform.
Will the course work on our learning platform?
Almost certainly. SCORM and xAPI are the two standards nearly every learning management system accepts, and we test the package on your platform before sign-off. If you don't have a platform, we host the course on ours, with certificates and reporting for managers. See our learning platform.

You check the outline and script before we build and sign off the finished course. If your subject or route needs a specialist, we bring one in and tell you first, and before anything is submitted to a CPD body, MFHEA or an awarding organisation, a second person reads it. What does a certified or accredited course do for my business?
Buyers can check its level or CPD hours. HR teams find it easier to approve, and you can price it for what it's worth. It helps with tenders that ask for recognised training, and your learners get a certificate other employers understand. And an outside body has checked it, with our quality assurance keeping it current after approval.
Can you build a course for our business from scratch?
Yes. Building bespoke courses for employers and training centres is where most engagements with us start. You tell us the outcome you want and who it is for, a single role, a team or the whole company, and we design and build the course to that need, as self-paced eLearning, live or virtual sessions, or a blend. We build with our own technology and an industry expert from your sector, then host it on our learning management system or deploy it onto yours. Do I need a Maltese company to get accredited in Malta?
In practice, yes. MFHEA licenses providers and accredits programmes in Malta, and that requires a legal entity established in Malta. For a UK or non-EU provider this is usually the whole point rather than an obstacle: a Maltese company holding an MFHEA-accredited programme gives you a qualification with a Malta Qualifications Framework level, referenced to the European Qualifications Framework, issued from inside the European Union and portable to European learners. That is the practical route back into the EU market after Brexit. We set the company up and run it for you, with legal and administrative support delivered alongside licensed Maltese corporate service providers, then take the same programme through accreditation. One route, one point of contact, rather than a company formation agent, an accountant and an accreditation consultant who never speak to each other.
What does Apollo Accreditation do?
Apollo Accreditation builds training courses, trainer-led and eLearning, and gets them recognised when clients want that. It has three services: course development, CPD Certification and qualifications accreditation, with quality assurance built into the last two. For the EU, we run MFHEA accreditation from start to finish. In the four UK nations, where the regulators (Ofqual, Qualifications Wales, CCEA Regulation and Qualifications Scotland) recognise awarding organisations rather than individual providers, we build the qualification and its evidence and take it through a recognised awarding organisation. We also prepare courses for independent CPD certification bodies. We are not a regulator or an awarding organisation and we do not award qualifications ourselves.
What is MFHEA accreditation?
MFHEA is the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority, the national body that licences providers and accredits programmes in Malta against the Malta Qualifications Framework. We help you prepare provider and programme submissions, map learning outcomes to MQF levels, and meet the authority's quality standards.
How does accreditation through Malta help a UK provider reach the EU market?
Malta is an EU member state, and the Malta Qualifications Framework (MQF) is referenced to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), the eight-level scale used across Europe to compare qualifications. When your programme is accredited through MFHEA and rated on the MQF, it carries a level that European employers, regulators and learners can read directly. Since Brexit, a UK RQF or CPD credential no longer sits inside the EU's own system in the same way, so this is a practical route back to European recognition. It concerns the recognition and level of the qualification, not an automatic right to practise a regulated profession, which runs through separate EU rules. We confirm current MFHEA standards with the authority before any submission.
